So as we are coming to the end of July, where is this year going?!; here's what's made me smile this week;

1. This Weekend - Very excited for a well overdue catch up with my three besties. I have a surprise planned for Katie tonight and tomorrow it's her 22nd birthday which means food and drinks. We haven't been able to see each other as a group for about 4 weeks now due to work commitments so I cannot wait.

2. It's getting closer - It's only a few more weeks until I finish work and I'm quite excited to have a week of relaxing and seeing my friends before I go away. I know it's reeeally bad but I can't wait to not have to work, I love the people I work with but I definitely will not miss getting up at 6am for a while.

3. A long overdue visit -My Aunt and Uncle are coming over from Dubai for a holiday soon. I haven't seen them since Christmas so I am really looking forward to seeing them. After this, the next time I will probably see them is on my way back from Australia next year! Eek.

4. My guilty pleasure - I don't admit this to many people...but I'm into Home & Away in a big way. The story lines are brilliant, I've been watching it for that many years I feel like I know the characters. Yes, this is all very embarrassing, I know, I know. But I love sitting down at night after work, sticking H&A on sky+ and having that guilty pleasure for half an hour.

5. The Royal Baby - I know many people will be a tad fed up of seeing this everywhere, after all, it's not the first baby to ever be born, BUT it's very exciting. I even blogged about it here. And babies are pretty cute. Let's hope we've got another cute rebellious one like Harry in the future! All Hail Baby George Alexander Louis, Prince of Cambridge. I love the Royal Family!!
6. Post-Tramlines - Such a fun weekend. I spent the first half of my working week completely recovering but it was worth it. I hope I'm around for it again next year!

7. Mint Magnums - I normally hate anything minty but I'm making an exception for these. Taste sensation!
8. My favourite meal this week - I made a Tagine and it was deeeelicious! Have a try!
9. A genuinely good mood - Despite being ill for half of the week, I've still been in a really good mood. After brief storms, the weathers still good, the weekend is full of plans and I'm almost on my one month countdown to going away.
