Choc & Cherry Blondies

These are that tasty that they don't really need an introduction. I think I may actually be a convert from a brownie lover to a blondie lover and these are the reason why.

All you need is:
115g melted butter
240g brown sugar
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla
A little salt
125 all-purpose flour

First things first, preheat your oven to 180 (fan assisted)

Get your butter and melt it on a low heat in a sauce pan.

Add your brown sugar to the melted butter and mix until smooth.

Add the egg and vanilla to the butter and sugar. Stir well

Stir in the flour and salt.

Make sure you mix it well.

Now stir in the chocolate and cherries.

Pop in the oven for 20-25 minutes or until the middle is firm...I always opt for as little cooking time as possible though, gotta love a gooey middle!

Why not swap the cherries and chocolate for fruit and nut, a buttercream frosting? I think I will be trying cherry and pecan next time. Mmm!

Brownies are brilliant as you can always put something different in them but use the same basic recipe. Ideal for you bakers out there with limited time and limited ingredients!
