What Natasha Did...July

July has been such a fun month - one full of hot weather, birthdays and delicious food. Quite often British summer months are spent wrapped up in jumpers, looking out of the window grumbling at the torrential rain and grey skies but this July has been a true summer month. The heatwave was brilliant; we all moaned it was too hot but, come on, you've got to admit it was good while it lasted.

This month I've celebrated the birthdays of both my lovely Pa and best friend Katie, both of which were spent in a lovely way; with friends and family. As part of Katie's birthday (and a present to Vicky back in June) we all went and tried out cocktail making; it wasn't as easy as it looked but we had a great time! Sheffield also hosted Tramlines which was a brilliant weekend and I prepared a lovely picnic the weekend before as I was missing my life in Sheffield! As well as doing the picnic, I also took part in the Money Supermarket Charcoal Challenge, a challenge set up for Bloggers to demonstrate just how much fun you could have with a £50 budget and what a good excuse to devour some tasty barbecue food. Speaking of good food - Fancie. Enough said.

It is now the first of August - that means I officially go travelling NEXT MONTH. Oh. My. God.

It's coming around so, so quickly and as well as being ridiculously excited, I'm also getting a little bit nervous. Before, it seemed surreal that I was going away but it's now becoming a reality. This month I wrote about the travel planning I'd done for Indonesia and also, a more realistic post about the reality of planning a trip on such a large scale as well as the advice I could give on preparation. I decided to make my own Bucket List too!

Oh and...I did a very out-of-character post...a sneaky peak into my makeup bag - I am a complete beginner when it comes to things like this but wanted to show my favourite products that work for my sensitive skin!

Woah. I talk alot.

Here are a few snaps from July:

What I've been listening to: Rudimental, Jay-Z, John Newman, Disclosure

What I've been obsessing over: travelling, dip-dyed hair (again and I'm going to go there), nights out, Notting Hill Carnival

What I've been wishing I was: that there were more hours in the day!

What I've can't get enough of: Pretty Little Liars, Twitter, salads (like these), berries, making plans (!)

Hello August, I think you're going to be a treat!

N xo
