Blue Mountains

You all know how much I love escaping the city with the 'wow'-factor. The Blue Mountains tick all the boxes for me - just look at that view.

Make your way to central station of hop on the train to Katoomba

After a couple of hours, you'll arrive, exiting the station to the hop on hop off bus kiosk.

You need to get a ticket for this - around $35 - but it will save your poor little legs as you could never in a million years see everything - you'll probably be walking for a week if that were the case.

ANYWAY - bus ticket, check. Map, check. Walk a little up the street and you'll find the bus stop. The drivers are great and will tell you everything you need to know - the best and most popular spots, routes you can take etc.

There are also optional extras for the bus top including the railway and sky bus.

Stops 9-14, we were told, would be for us.

Beautiful waterfalls...

Incredible views...

Forest walks...

Take your time, soak up the scenery...

Then hop back on the bus and make your way to the three sisters...

Get the panoramic shots in...

And have 'that' picture...

You will truly have a beautiful, peaceful day (with all the other tourists, of course) but you MUST go!
