I can't believe we're already 9 months into the year. I can't quite believe Autumn is approaching and Christmas is around the corner. August was a ridiculously busy month for me. I think I spent about 9 days in the country due to (mostly) work trips and a brief holiday. It was an incredible month and possibly the best I've had since my 2013/14 backpacking trip. I somehow managed to stick to my August goals as well...
An August Goals recap:
Actually relax - I definitely spent time during my holiday relaxing as well as getting a few days in while I was in Vegas too. Shopping and pool time both thoroughly deserved!

Plan my New York trip - All done. List of restaurants prepared, tourist days planned. I'M SO BLOODY EXCITED I COULD BURST. It's the best possible trip to round off 3 months of travel.

Get organised - Thankfully I did. My time in between travelling was spent getting everything in line for the next trips.

ENJOY my holiday to Budapest - I absolutely loved Budapest and I can't wait to get a couple of reviews down on the blog. It's a great city and crazy cheap as well as being absolutely beautiful.

Capture my travels - Not just in photos but embracing the memories too - Achieved. August has been an amazing month. I've been lucky enough to holiday as well as have the time of my life in Vegas for work.


SEE ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING HUMANLY POSSIBLE IN NEW YORK - I have three days. On your marks, get set, go...!

PLAN A SHEFFIELD AND A LONDON TRIP - I need to see my friends, SOON! I miss both places sooo much but finding time to get there is always a struggle.

NOT WORRY ABOUT MONEY - It's going to be an expensive month BUT a fun one. So I need to let my hair down and not worry about what I'm spending too much OR let money worries allow me to miss out on things.

TRY AND HAVE A MONTH WITHOUT BUYING MORE THAN 10 ITEMS OF CLOTHING - I have a problem. A massive problem. I can't stop buying clothes. My wardrobe is going to burst. Note to self: October goal - if I haven't worn an item of clothing for more than 6 months, CHARITY.

SLEEP - I can't remember what it feels like to sleep for more than 5 hours each night. I want my 8 hours back!
